Weekday Special!
Discounted rentals are available on weekdays between 9am and 5pm at a sliding scale of $20-50/hour! Please note that the discount program is contingent on availability of our events coordinator and volunteers. Great option for recording sessions, client meetings, or artist studio time, or musician practice/teaching time. Please allow a week to process these requests. Rent Space
Make Shift Boston is a great space to host a wide range of events including film screenings, parties, concerts, workshops, meetings, classes, fundraisers, theater events, and more. Our space is centrally located near both the Orange and Green MBTA lines, and is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom.
We have capacity for up to 150 people. Your rental includes use of a projector and screen with option to rent a PA (sound system) at an additional cost of $150. Event rentals help us keep our space open as a resource for Boston’s social justice and arts communities.
For rentals, we charge a sliding scale $50-100/hour. We strive to make the space affordable for a wide range of groups, so if our rates out of your budget, get in touch. We also offer discounts for weekly or monthly recurring events on a case by case basis. Make Shift Boston members can host events in our space for free anytime they want, so if you’re looking to host events regularly, consider becoming a member!
